Charles Eve

Charles Eve has spent a career in finance. He joined Goldman Sachs Convertible Bond desk in 1986 where he went on to expand and lead that team. In 1998 he went to Tokyo to Co-Head the Securities division and was elected Partner in 2000. Charles joined the Asian Management Committee in 2001 and the Global Risk Committee later that year. In 2002 he was promoted to Chief of Staff for the Asian region. In 2003 Charles returned to the UK where asked to become Head of the EMEA Compliance function a position he held until his retirement from the firm in February 2018. Since then Charles has pursued a plural career. He has a portfolio of over 14 investments in social impact start-ups, is involved with several charities, a school governor and is on the Advisory Board for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
