Charles has spent his career building various business across the professional services and marketing communications sectors. Between 2001 and 2011 as CEO of Financial Dynamics he led the process of creating one of the world’s leading strategic communications consultancies – including its private equity backed MBO and its sale to FTI Consulting in 2006. He subsequently took on a number of chairmanship roles including in the Karma Communications Group and New College of the Humanities. Between 2015 and 2020 he served as chairman of Teneo International – leading the global build out of the consulting firm in the run up to its sale to CVC in 2019. He is an active early stage investor.
